The Deer Lodge Valley Conservation District (DLVCD) and the North Powell Conservation District (NPCD) are political subdivisions of the State of Montana.
DLVCD is governed by a board consisting of five county‑elected supervisors and two city‑appointed supervisors. NPCD is governed by a board of five county‑elected supervisors.
District operations are funded through local taxes assessed on real property within each district’s boundaries.
Through a long‑standing partnership with the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), both DLVCD and NPCD share office space within the NRCS Deer Lodge Field Office. In addition to NRCS, conservation districts across Montana receive vital support from the Montana Association of Conservation Districts (MACD) and the Montana Department of Natural Resources and Conservation (DNRC).

If you’re unsure which conservation district you reside in, or which district has jurisdiction over your 310 project, please contact our office and we’ll help point you in the right direction.
